One of the most prominent exams for admission in MBBS and BDS is the All Indian Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT). Every year, AIPMT exams are conducted at various examination centers of India except Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. This entrance test is being conducted for the 15% merit positions in the Medical/Dental Colleges across India. The merit list is also considered by certain Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges against the seats under their control. AIPMT 2014 Exam Eligibility Criteria

AIPMT eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Candidate’s age must be between 17-25 years. 
• Candidate’s belonging to Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for this examination.

Examination paper consists of 180 marks and the time limit for the paper is 3 hours (180 minutes). The paper consists of 4 sections; namely Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each section contains 45 questions. The questions carry 4 marks each. Negative marking is practiced for incorrect answers. Candidates can opt for Question paper either in English or in Hindi. The examination of AIPMT 2014 will be conducted on 04/05/2014 and expected date for results will be June 2014. We will let you know as soon as the result is announced. Application with late fee: 26/01/2014 to 8/02/2014

Application with 2nd late fee: 08/02/2014 to 24/02/2014

Examination Date: 04/05/2014

The instructions for filling the AIPMT application form is as follows:

• Go to the official website of AIPMT 
• On the left hand side, select the tab online application and Apply Online. 
• Once the form is submitted, a registration number is generated. Note down the registration number for future use. 
• Select the option to Upload photo and signature. 
• For payment, print out the E-challan form or use Debit/Credit card. 
• Print the confirmation page. 
• In case of E-challan procedure, paste your passport size photo on the printed confirmation page and send it to the address as mentioned on the address slip available at the website along with the required demand draft (DD) of the payment.
