SSC CGL 2014 admit card declared
SSC CGL 2014 Admit card will be very soon uploaded to its official website. Candidates, who have filled the application form for combined graduate level tier 1 examination (SSC CGL 2014), will be able to download their admit card from the official website.
Staff Selection Commission every year conducts Combined Graduate Level examination for the recruitment to different government positions. To appear for SSC CGL 2014, the candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university. The exam consists of 3 rounds, 1st round is Tier 1 written examination, followed by tier 2 written examinations for the candidates who have cleared Tier 1 exam. Finally for the candidates who have successfully cleared both Tier 1 and Tier 2 have to undergo the Round 3 that is computer prophecy test/interview/skill test as applicable for the post they have applied. SSC CGL 2014 Tier 1 exam information:
The SSC CGL 2014 Tier 1 examination consists of objective type multiple questions. There are total 200 questions in the paper totaling to 200 marks. For each incorrect answer 0.25 marks are deducted. The time duration for the exam is 2 hrs and is divided into 4 sections.
Section 1 – General Intelligence and reasoning – 50 Marks.
Section 2 – General awareness – 50 Marks.
Section 3 – Quantitative aptitude – 50 Marks.
Section 4 – English comprehension – 50 Marks.
As per the official information, SSC CGL 2014 Tier 1 and Tier 2 examination were supposed to be held on April 27th, 2014 and May 4th, 2014 but have been postponed due to general elections. As the new dates for SSC CGL 2014 have not yet announced, the students can use the extra time to prepare for the examination. As per the notification issued by the Secretary (P&P-I) the SSC CGL 2014 exams will be tentatively scheduled to be held towards the second half of the current year.
To download SSC CGL 2014 Admit card, candidates would need their Reg. No and DOB, so make sure that you have both the information handy while downloading the admit card. Once the SSC CGL 2014 Admit cards are uploaded to the official website, you can then download your SSC CGL admit card. Till then students can utilize the extra time for preparing the exam.
Note: Students appearing for the exams are required to carry their SSC CGL 2014 admit card. In absence of SSC CGL 2014 admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exams, so keep in mind that you carry your SSC CGL 2014 admit card to the examination hall.
